Chopped basalt strands are a perfect substitute material to PP & PAN and wood fiber in reinforcing the asphalt concrete in improvement the concrete stability, low-temperature crack and fatigue resistance. It is a very competitive products, which can be used for adulterating agent of bituminous concrete. It can improve high temperature stability, low temperature freeze thawing splitting wedge and fatigue resistance etc.. Simultaneously the chopped strand roving of basalt fiber is also first choice material of the reinforced plastic resin.
