Basalt Chopped Strands

Chopped basalt strands are made of high performance dry, wet or texturized roving, which contains the special silicate, and possesses the excellent chemical resistance, especial alkali tolerance.

Chopped basalt strands are a perfect substitute material to PP & PAN and wood fiber in reinforcing the asphalt concrete in improvement the concrete stability, low-temperature crack and fatigue resistance. It is a very competitive products, which can be used for adulterating agent of bituminous concrete. It can improve high temperature stability, low temperature freeze thawing splitting wedge and fatigue resistance etc..
